The Arch of Triumph in Paris french

The Arch of Triumph in Paris, the full name of the Arc de Triomphe Etoile is located in the center of the roundabout the same name, where cross 12 avenues including the Champs-Elysee. It was built under the orders of Napoleon, after the battle of Austerlitz.

Work drove off in 1806, but did not end until 1936 under the reign of King Louis-Philippe first. The work had indeed been interrupted between 1812 and 1832, following several defeats in the Napoleonic army and the advent of the Restoration, during which the monarchical sovereignty was reinstated.
