Beautiful marine areas, close to the mountains and idyllic natural oasis. The province of Crotone in Calabria is relatively young, established in 1992 and after a distribution of territory formerly included in the province of Catanzaro, with which it borders on this southwest. Northeast it borders the province of Cosenza and faces east over the Ionian Sea.
The colors of the sea vary in shades of blue to emerald green, making it even more admirable that coast rich in history and nature, as to deserve, since 1991, the name of a protected marine area.

Located 20 km from Cotrone, Palumbo offers a wonderful setting, Lake Ampollino the immense forest that surrounds it. Finally the village "Principe", located 1479 meters above sea level, is immersed in the woods of Corsican pines and beeches, a rich undergrowth fantastic.
